Limarí Valley, Chile

Limarí Valley, in northern Chile’s Coquimbo region, is a cool-climate coastal wine area shaped by the Pacific Ocean and the cold Humboldt Current. Morning fogs and cooling breezes moderate the otherwise arid conditions, while limestone‑rich soils—unusual in Chile—bring precision and structure to the wines. Known particularly for Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as elegant Pinot Noir and Syrah, Limarí produces fresh, mineral-driven wines that combine vibrant acidity with refined, saline complexity.
